Having understanding is what love “is”.As we are living longer and further apart from each other, we need to find ways to support and understand our families, friends, and elders in general.
My guest this Sunday is Maggie Walters, author of “Finding the Bloom of the Cactus Generation”: Improving the Quality of Life for Seniors to help people with mentally and/or physically challenged elderly relatives and friends understand their situations and deal with them effectively.
Walters earned a B.A. degree in French literature from Goucher College in Baltimore, added an undergraduate degree in graphic design from London College of Printing and earned an M.A. in education form the University of London, in England.
The more we understand how to age, the more peace we will find in loving our seniors and ourselves. Understanding all aspects of our different stages in life takes away anger, fear, guilt and shame.
Information on Maggie Walters and her book can be found on her website www.cactusgeneration.com. The book is also in bookstores and can be ordered at Amazon.com

This Sunday, August 19th, I am welcoming my friend, client, and colleague, Dr. Seth Kadish. Dr. Seth and I met (blubble, blubble) years ago in a comedy improvisational group in NYC. I am not that old.We have been identified as characters and how interesting that two rather odd characters would come together and reunite in such a way as to embark on a road of understanding and with such love for the odd or misunderstood people of our planet. We so want to touch and be a part of what is brilliant, sensitive and hurt. Why? Ohhhhhhhhh no, that wouldn’t be our inner selves, right? It takes one to know one huh?
If you want to do some work on what we are about to talk about try chapter 1 and then jump to page 139 of Invisible Warfare and page 223 of the work book, Suppressed Fears Create Addictions. What makes the mind tilt and go to addictions, insanity or criminology? Could there be a type of formula?
I know suppressed fears and hurts can create these mind sets. These mind sets are a part of all of us in different degrees. But by no means is that who we are. We pull up these parts as protection of our vulnerabilities to either block, survive or plainly, just feel better in a moment. It is all about the conscious mind and subconscious mind separating because we have no processing skill to break it down and understand and handle ourselves.
Why is the processing of anger, fear, guilt and shame with the use of appropriate humor so important in processing our minds, hearts, bodies and souls?
Come and join our Think Tank this Sunday with Seth and me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PART I:
I am so excited to introduce you to my client and guest Seane Corn. Seane and I are really here to discuss, not just what we do professionally but what it is like to step out and own yourself, good, bad and ugly.
It’s about ours and others egos and spirit. Because most people do not know how to own, we can send each other into low or high ego and project all our personal feelings and memories onto each other. It can feel like a sucker punch. These projections and judgments cause hurts and insecurities no matter who you are; rich, poor, smart, or intuitive. And what if that pain makes us reactive or shut down? Are we are gonna create more?
So this is about hearing and truly understanding all of our vulnerabilities and being different as a collective whole. What does having a center mean and what does it take to stay in a centered place inside?
We are the awakening generation, not the enlightened generation. And awakening can be scary and upsetting if we self beat and hurt ourselves for our mistakes and for the lack of not knowing better.
Thank you for being open to seeing outside the box and “Going Beyond What You Know”.
Thank you and Big Hugs,
Mona
