GLOSSARY
APPROACH: A welcome invitation for information to enter in question form with an openness to understanding. Every answer triggers another question with no attempt to control the outcome. Based on peace, full of understanding, with an openness to see from as many perspectives as possible, there is openness, understanding and clarity.
BACK-DOOR GUILT: A heavy feeling, hopelessness. Being overly responsible from carrying others’ disowned thoughts, feelings, judgments and truths with no self-boundaries.
BELIEF: A belief is a thought or feeling you deem true and therefore real. Because you believe it is true you have manifested it as real. Just as we can program a computer to run a certain way, we can program what we think and feel. Over time, programmed thoughts and feelings become beliefs—regardless of whether they’re true. What we believe affects the way we live. Our beliefs become our reality.
BLIND: lack sight, heedless, random, dim, closed at one end, concealed, deprived of sight, something cutting off light, screen for a window.
CARE: Anxiety, pain, heed, charge, oversight, has regard or liking.
COMING INTO YOUR OWN: Have you heard the phrase “coming into your own?” It happens when we begin to open up and see ourselves and the world through self-awareness and self-responsibility. See the word “own?” When we come into our “own,” we have learned to own our truth and change our lives.
CO-DEPENDENT (CODA): Loving or caring with no self-awareness, self-boundaries and no truth.
CONFRONTING: An intrusive, aggressive attack on your thoughts, feelings, judgments and behaviors stimulated by fear and anger. Statements or loaded questions that are open-ended, usually based on fear, full of righteous, egotistical opinions. Confrontation creates more anger, fear, guilt and shame.
DEAF: wholly or partly without hearing, unwilling to hear
DESIRE: To wish, request, long for, or have an appetite for.
DE-PERSONALIZE: Understanding that you action and another person’s actions are separate form each other. Look at the circumstances form every angle, without becoming reactive. Understand yourself and then the person that upset you. Whoever was upsetting you was an off-center person. Do not disconnect from your truths, thoughts, feelings and intuition in the process. Stay aware and connected to yourself and maintain an understanding of people involved. Hold on to the truth that belongs to you and let go of the rest with no judgment.
GUILT: A double-edged sword consisting of a shaming self-beat, stabbing inward and a blaming attack, stabbing outward, which continually repeats.
HIGH EGO: The false god we read about. It is an arrogant perception of being superior to others. It is a survival skill for blocking one’s shame and guilt. It does not own or understand. It is a state of condescending control and arrogance, created from a lack of acceptance due to painful and embarrassing truths. When a part of you feels injured, the high ego arises to dominate and save you. The goal is to be powerful.
INFERIORITY: Seeing yourself as less than in a state of shame; self-beat and low ego.
JUDGMENTAL: Holding and expressing opinions, positive or negative that cause a “better than” or :less than” perception. Creating a low- and high-ego modes for yourself and others.
KARMA: The sum of all that an individual has done and is currently doing. The effects of what you think, feel, believe and how you behave actively attract and create your present and future experiences, making you responsible for your own life. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma is believed to exist through one’s present life and past and future lives as well. In several eastern religions, karma comprises the entire cycle of cause and effect. Karma is not about right and wrong or good and bad; it’s about experiencing what you
understand and do not understand. It’s about what you think, feel and believe—and , therefore, play out.
LEFT BRAIN: The logical, rational and intelligent part of your brain.
LIGHT: A natural agent where things are visible; a window; bright and pale, not dark
LOW EGO: The concept of slavery that develops from a feeling of insecurity, worthlessness and failure. It is a perception of being inferior to others. It is a survival skill, for protection, to remain invisible or to obey others in order to not be judged as wrong. It is a camouflage of weakness so dominators will not notice you and will leave you alone. Full of self-beat and personalization this is created from a lack of self-responsibility and effort for painful and embarrassing truths. When a part of you feels injured, the low ego suppresses your inner strength to hide you and keep you safe. The goal is to be powerless.
MISTAKE: An experience that happens when truth is not clear.
MIRACLE: A change in perception.
MORAL: Right conduct or duties; ethical, virtuous, chaste, discriminating between right and wrong, verified by reason or probability; the underlying meaning; fables
MUTE: Dumb, silent, hired mourner, deadened sound of musical instruments
OWN: To admit and understand with feeling what happened or is happening and finding a prevention or new behavior will change your path for your future. Owning is remembering the past and understanding why and where something originally happened. Owning leads you to truth and understanding of the past, present and future. This is called taking responsibility for pain and wishes, no matter who is at fault.
PERSONALIZATION: Personalization has two processes. One is a perception of how to see and feel someone or something and use it as an an example and picture, to see an aspect of yourself. This type of personalization
is an ingredient for owning, as a way to teach yourself about yourself, as a reflection. To personalize through judgmental eyes, you will see someone or something as your reflection as a way of blaming others for your thoughts and feelings creating paranoia. This causes a negative self-perception that will trigger anger, fear, guilt or shame causing self-beat and self-abuse internally or externally. This type of personalization creates a negative self-absorption or a projection of your denied thoughts and feelings and life experiences onto others. This causes you to view everything in fear, which causes you and others pain.
PITY/SYMPATHY: Feeling sorry for yourself or someone else, not processing and taking an action for the anger and sadness concerning you or someone else. You’re carrying yours or others’ sadness with no self-responsibility and no change. Others’ sadness does not belong to you; yours does. Therefore, it can become very heavy, like a weight, and cause depression! Sympathy is feeling for someone else. Not to be confused with empathy, feeling with someone not for someone.
PREFRONTAL CORTEX: The part of the brain that holds concentration, focus and empathy.
PROJECTION: To throw; plan; cause to appear on a distant background; stick out.
REAL: What we perceive and believe is true.
REALM: A circle of self-processing. Used as a road map, it shows us where we are and where we are lost. It is a direction for self-awareness of our different aspects of self. There is an order to the realms for our alignment like a spinal column. If the spine is out of order it needs an adjustment and a re-alignment. The order is… spiritual, mental, emotion, physical, sexual and financial.
RIGHT: Conformable to justice and morality, in accordance with the truth; appropriate; most favorable; in satisfactory condition; and in good health or order.
RIGHT BRAIN: The feeling and creative part of the brain.
RINSE: A technique and processing of our thoughts, feelings and memories—spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, sexually, financially and psychically—by writing things down, or physically rinse.
SELF-BEAT/SHAME: Every thought or feeling that is topped by judgment creates a self-beat. The self-beat voice is telling you to become aware and to understand something. If the self-beat is not heard and understood, it can manifest self-hate, insecurity, depression, addiction, mutilation, suicide, insanity or criminal act-outs. You don’t fight or try to get rid of the self-beat; you go to it, understand it and open your mind to new thinking, feeling and behavior. A self-beat keeps us in a spin of self-judgment.
SPIN: A thought, feeling or behavior that repeats with no change of thought, feeling, belief or behavior, topped with a self-beat that spirals uncontrollably. A spin happens when you put anger, fear, guilt, shame or hurt on someone or something and repeat those thoughts, feelings or behaviors with no change. You are in a spin because you are not understanding the lies and truths of the situation. There is no owning here. If no awareness or behavior comes, you can begin to feel crazy. If you get stuck in one thought, feeling or belief with no processing or understanding, your spin will turn you into a shut down, depressant or an out-of-control, emotional person rather than a sensitive, feeling person.
STUBBORN: A false sense of strength which is a centering for fear to exist.
SPIRIT or ESSENCE: “What is.” It represents the understanding of all truth and struggle. It knows the importance of flipping to the high and low ego to develop understanding. Before you can experience a balance from the middle, you need to be able to recognize the opposite energies on each side. Spirit sees all as equal and full of purpose. Spirit is the perception of truth and lies with love for both. It is your own personal Higher Power or God energy of awareness. It speaks to you through the intuition, which reveals truth. It shines its light through the understanding of your confusions and mistakes. It does not push or control; it listens with wisdom and compassion. Of an age beyond Earth years, it is faith. Faith that when you are ready, you will come to it and listen. It waits patiently for you to not project the judgments learned from this planet onto this energy. It is here to heal, through deep understanding, the injures of pain and embarrassment as it already knows why these injuries exist. It knows your magic and talents and is there to remind you of who you are. If you choose to remember. Reaching this understanding is where the struggle stops. This is empowerment!
TRIGGER: A trigger is a psychological mechanism causing a thought, feeling and memory to awaken from your subconscious mind that affects and influences your thinking, feeling or behavior in present time. When a trigger is activated, it can cause an irrational response, an over-reaction, or a reverting to past behavior, even that of a child. Don’t be surprised if an instantaneous shutdown can turn into a crazy feeling or a freeze from all movement, ending with you feeling depressed. Having a reaction totally unrelated to the circumstances at hand is very common when you are triggered into a memory that was upsetting. This is why the addict is so prevalent in our world. Addictions help to block feelings and awarenesses from triggers.
TRUE: What is! As it has been and always be.
SUFFERING: Undergoing or sustaining, experiencing, enduring, and permitting.
SUPERIORITY: Higher in place, position, rank, quality; surpassing others, above, beyond, power of influence; too dignified to be affected by snobbery
UNDERSTANDING: Understanding has no anger, fear, guilt or shame in it. If I can “see” all of myself—the good and the bad and everything in between then I can “see” and feel the same in other people.
WORRY: Seize or trouble, harass, utterly concerned, with useless care or anxiety.
YIN YANG: Yin Yang is a symbol that represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how energy works. It has an outer circle that represents "everything,” with black and white shapes within the circle that represent the interaction of two energies—"yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white, and they cannot exist without each other. While "yin" is dark, passive, downward, cold, contracting, and weak, "yang" is bright, active, upward, hot, expanding, and strong. There is continual movement between these two energies, yin to yang and yang to yin, causing everything to happen, just as things in life expand and contract, and temperature changes from hot to cold.According to this theory, when we evolve to the point of understanding and accepting all opposites, we lose any desire for righteousness, war and ego. Accepting and understanding opposites is the beginning process for peace and balance.
