CAREER HISTORY

August 2005 to present: Headquarters Detective Division - Narcotics
Recently promoted to undercover Narcotics Investigator, currently assigned to Lennox Station as a Narcotics Investigator.

October 22, 2000 to 2005: Compton Station- Field Operations Region II

Transfered from Carson Station and promoted to field Training Officer. Recently promoted to Detective.

October 1998 to October 21, 2000: Carson Station - Field Operations Region II

Transferred from Lennox Station and performed general duties as a Patrol Deputy. Worked in Scheduling and Training establishing Patrol Training Notebooks for the newly assigned Deputies. Completion of the master schedule for Personnel on all shifts, assist in maintaining daily inservices to ensure that minimum staffing needs were met. Temporary assignment at Personnel and Training Division, Special Operations Group-Surveillance Team. Duties include covert physical surveillance of subjects and locations. Mobile surveillance requiring aggressive yet tactical and defensive driving. Gathering of all types of evidence necessary to ensure a complete and thorough investigation.

September 1995 to October 24, 1998: Lennox Station- Field Operations Region II

Performed duties as a Patrol Deputy, with a temporary Detective Bureau assignment to assist Detectives in the investigation and filing of several different cases. Also assigned duties as a Special Projects Deputy/School Resource officer assisting the Centinela Valley Union High School District and the Lawndale School District. Duties included liaison with staff, faculty, and students at two high schools, a middle school, and five elementary schools. Duties focused on identifications, monitoring, counseling, and enforcement of laws relating to habitual problem students.

December 1989 to September 1995: Custody Division Assignments

Multiple duty assignments at Men's Central Jail, South Facility, and Mira Loma Facility, including responsibilities as Training Officer to teach newly assigned deputies their duties and responsibilities in a custodial environment, a selected member or the Tactical Extraction Team and Emergency Response Team, medical liaison, inmate classification, and general duties related to the supervision and monitoring of inmates.
